East Brunswick kept the game close until near the end of the fourt period, but Jordan Teicher made four foul shots for South Brunswick to put the game away. Scoring for East Brunswick were: Dustin Schuld (11 pts), Mike Mello (4 pts), Mauro Tucci (2 pts), Mike Kvidahl (5 pts), Ray Bryan (4 pts), Alec Mayo (4 pts), Kevin Johnson (8 pts), Dan Sullivan (8 pts). East Brunswick fell behind quickly, outscored 14-7 in the first period and down 26-11 at the half. With the Hawks shooting 17 of 21 from the foul line, it was impossible for East Brunswick to close the gap. Alex Mayo was the leading scorer for the Bears with 12 points. East Brunswick played tough against rival Greater Middlesex Red Division rival Old Bridge. With 20 seconds left, Old Bridge was only ahead by one, but then Quinton Crawford sunk two foul shots. Scoring for East Brunswick were: Dan Sullivan (12 pts), Scott Stolzenberg (8 pts), Mike Mello (9 pts), Mike Kvidahl (4 pts), Johnson (2 pts). East Brunswick is now 3-9 for the season.

East Brunswick fell behind in the first period, but battled back to a 19-19 tie. Mike Mello scored 11 points and Scott Stolzenberg and Alec Mayo each scored 10 for East Brunswick. In the second half, South Brunswick pulled out ahead and the Bears could not close the gap. East Brunswick finished strong to pull off a victory over Greater Middlesex Red Division opponent Edision at Edison. With an 18-11 burst in the fourth period, East Brunswick slammed the door on what had been a close game. Scoring for East Brunswick were: Ray Bryan (11 pts), Dustin Schuld (10 pts), Mike Mello (6 pts), Scott Stolzenberg (7 pts), Alec Mayo (9 pts), Tucci (6 pts), Sullivan (4 pts). December 18, 2007 - J.P. Stevens 62, East Brunswick 49

East Brunswick lost their home opener against the J.P. Stevens Hawks despite 16 points scored by Alec Mayo which included 11 points in a second period burst that pulled the Bears even at 19-19. East Brunswick could get no closer and at the half trailed 26-21. J.P. Stevens got a lot of second chances with Kenny Bland getting 9 rebounds and 5 blocks. Scoring for East Brunswick were: Scott Stolzenberg (8 pts), Mike Mello (9 pts), Mike Kvidahl (4 pts), Alec Mayo (16 pts), Ray Bryan (2 pts), Kevin Johnson (2 pts), Nick Navara (2 pts). East Brunswick got the season off to a great start with a win over Greater Middlesex Conference rival Old Bridge. East Brunswick was tied with Old Bridge at 11 points each at the end of the first period, but the Bears surged out to a 25-18 lead at the break lead by Scott Stolzenberg who scored 8 of his 18 points in the second quarter. Scoring for East Brunswick were: Scott Stolzenberg (18 pts), Mike Mello (6 pts), Mike Kvidahl (3 pts), Alec Mayo (3 pts), Dustin Schuld (5 pts), Kevin Johnson (7 pts), Marc Tucci (4 pts).
