Nadir Barnwell threw for 220 yards and four touchdowns to lead Piscataway past East Brunswick, 58-6, last night in East Brunswick.
Barnwell threw all four TD passes in the first half, connecting with Tajae Sharpe from 53 and 11 yards out while also hooking up with Kyle LaPorte on a 73-yard scoring strike in the first quarter. In the second quarter Barnwell found Mubeen Qurasishi from 4 yards out, while Tevin Shaw carried the ball on scoring plays from 41 and 1 yards. Chris Mosier hit a 26-yard field goal, Tyrell Judson ran for a 39-yard TD and Juwaan walked returned a fumble 50 yards to round out the scoring for Piscataway. Chris Kania scored on a 50-yard rushing TD for East Brunswick.

East Brunswick had a frustrating time playing against a talented Sayreville team. The Bears were dominated 41-0 in the first half and couldn’t really get much going in the second half either, but the weather was good and made for a pleasant evening of football.
Kyle Anderson threw three touchdown passes, including two to Cody Zalasar, and Isaiah Johnson scored twice as Woodbridge, No. 20 in The Star-Ledger Top 20, rolled past East Brunswick, 42-13, yesterday in Woodbridge.
Woodbridge (4-0), which had been shut out by East Brunswick (0-4) the last two seasons, ended that streak by scoring 28 points in the first quarter.

Monroe scored first to pull ahead 7-0. East Brunswick’s AJ Gurriero scored next but the Bears but missed the extra point. Monroe added another touchdown before the half. In the third quarter, Mike Cia scored on a two yard run but failed on a two point attempt. Monroe scored another touchdown but missed the extra point. East Brunswick’s final touchdown was a 7 yard pass from Mike Cia to Alex Malveaux.
