East Brunswick took eight of the top 10 spots in the race, including a first by Melody Fakhrzadeh (22:48) and a third by Sara Frost (23:04), both sophomores.
Kelsey McDonald, another sophomore, was seventh (23:43). Juniors Nancy Wang (fifth in 23:27), Jessica Bloom (eighth in 24:36) and Joy Cui (10th in 25:02) also cracked the top 10. So did seniors Samantha Young (sixth in 23:31) and Rachel Lee (ninth in 25:00).
