October 18, 2006: South Plainfield 3, East Brunswick 2 (2OT)

East Brunswick lost an epic struggle against South Plainfield in double overtime. East Brunswick scored first with a goal from Kaitlyn Popiak. South Plainfield came back with goals from Kara Thomas and Brittany Hollis. Jessica Todoroff scored to tie the game up. There was then 45 minute of scoreless play before Brandee Brown of South Plainfield finally managed to score the winning goal. East Brunswick goalie Michelle Epstein had 10 saves. East Brunswick is now 9-7 for the season.

October 16, 2006: East Brunswick 3, Piscataway 1

Ann Kent put East Brunswick out in front with a goal in the first half. Jessica Todoroff added to her all-area scoring lead with her 15th goal of the season in the second half. Christina Kmiecik added another goal to close the scoring. East Brunswick goalie Carly Weinreb had six saves. East Brunswick is now 9-6 for the season.

October 13, 2006: East Brunswick 1, Monroe 0

Christina Kmicak scored in the first half for East Brunswick, which turned out to be the only goal for either team. East Brunswick goalie Carly Weinreb had four saves. East Brunswick is now 8-6 for the season.

October 5, 2006: East Brunswick 1, Old Bridge 0

Jessica Todoroff scored the winning goal just over two minutes into the second half with an assist from Christina Kmiecik. East Brunswick goalie Carly Weinreb had four saves. East Brunswick is now 7-5 for the season.

October 3, 2006: South Brunswick 1, East Brunswick 0

Ashley Wandishin of South Brunswick scored off a penalty corner in the first half which proved to be the only score in the Greater Middlesex Conference match. East Brunswick goalie Michelle Epstein had two saves. East Brunswick is now 6-5 for the season.

September 29, 2006: Metuchen 1, East Brunswick 0

Michelle Epstein had six saves, but the one that got in was one too many on a day when the East Brunswick offense was not able to generate a goal. East Brunswick is now 6-4 for the season.

September 27, 2006: East Brunswick 4, Piscataway 0

East Brunswick bounced back from their loss against South Plainfield with a solid victory over Piscataway. Kaitlyn Popiak scored the first goal for East Brunswick in the first half. Jessica Todoroff scored two goals in the second half for the Bears. Stephanie Holton also scored in the second-half. Jessica Todoroff, Christina Kmiecik, Patrice Resch, and Illana Mal all had assists for East Brunswick. Goalie Michelle Epstein had six saves in the shutout. East Brunswick is now 6-3 for the season.

September 25, 2006: South Plainfield 3, East Brunswick 2 (OT)

East Brunswick lost a heart breaker to South Plainfield who came from behind to beat them. Both South Plainfield and East Brunswick were coming off a loss, for the Bears, it followed a five game winning streak. East Brunswick's goals came from Jessica Todoroff and Andrea Kent. Patrice Resch and Christina Kmiecek had assists for the Bears. Goalie Carly Weinreb had 12 saves for the Bears. East Brunswick is now 5-3 for the season.

September 21, 2006: Wayne Hills 3, East Brunswick 1

East Brunswick fell behind 2-0, but Patrice Resch scored her first goal of the season early in the second quarter with an assist by Stephanie Holton. The Bears were unable to close the gap further and a third goal by Wayne put the game out of reach. East Brunswick is now 5-2 for the season.

September 20, 2006: East Brunswick 4, Monroe 0

East Brunswick's star forward, Jessica Todoroff scored two goals, making it three straight games in which she has scored more than one goal. Christina Kmiecek and Jamie Kinard also scored a goal each for East Brunswick. Patrice resch had two assists. Goalies Carly Weinreb and Michelle Epstein combined for a second shutout for the Bears. East Brunswick is now 5-1 for the season.

September 18, 2006: East Brunswick 4, Sayreville 1

In the first meeting since the 2005 GMC championship game, East Brunswick came out strong and won their fourth straight win. Stephanie Holton and Jessica Todoroff each scored two goals for East Brunswick. Patrice Resch had two assists for the Bears. East Brunswick is now 4-1 for the season.

September 13, 2006: East Brunswick 5, Old Bridge 0

East Brunswick fell behind South Brunswick in the first half when Jen Sisco scored a goal for the Vikings. East Brunswick exploded for two goals in the second half, just 38 seconds apart. Christina Kimiecik scored first, with an assist from Stephanie Holton. The game winner just seconds later was scored by Anne Kent also with an assist from Stephanie Holton. East Brunswick goalie Carly Weinreb had 14 saves. East Brunswick is now 3-1 for the season.

September 11, 2006: East Brunswick 2, South Brunswick 1

East Brunswick dominated Old Bridge lead by Jessica Todoroff who scored the first two goals of the game and another in the second half. Stephanie Holton scored a goal for East Brunswick just before the half. East Brunswick's Mal scored for the Bears in the second half. East Brunswick's Carly Weinreb (2 saves) and Michele Epstein (1 save) together had a shutout. East Brunswick is now 2-1 for the season.

September 9, 2006: East Brunswick 3, Westfield 1

East Brunswick bounced back from their opening loss with a strong showing against Westfield. East Brunswick got goals from Caitlyn Popiak, Jessica Todoroff and Stephanie Holton. The Bears got assists from Kathrine Toto as well as two from Jessica Todoroff. East Brunswick is now 1-1 for the season.

September 8, 2006: Metuchen 4, East Brunswick 3 - OT

East Brunswick started off their season with a tough loss to Metuchen in overtime. Jessica Todoroff had scored two goals, for the Bears, but they still trailed Metuchen 3-2. For the last two minutes of regulation, East Brunswick was right down in front of Metuchen's goal, but with just seconds remaining Stephanie Holton scored a goal on a penalty corner to tie the game. Myriam Coulibaly of Metuchen scored with 7:23 left in overtime to end the contest. East Brunswick is now 0-1 for the season.
