May 24, 2006 - East Brunswick 11, Neptune 5


The game was tied at 2-2 until the fifth inning when East Brunswick scored 4 runs which were followed up by 5 in the 6th. Armand Lamhing hit a double for East Brunswick. Pitching the shutout for East Brunswick was Eric Miele. East Brunswick is now 9-13-1 for the season.

May 23, 2006 - East Brunswick 6, South River 3


East Brunswick got the better of neighbor South River in a regular season match. East Brunswick scored runs in each of the first three innings. South River tied the game at 2-2 in the second inning. The Bears put the game away with 3 runs in the sixth inning. East Brunswick got doubles from Festim Malaj and Joe Fischer as well as a triple from Armand Lamhing. Joe Fischer was also the winning pitcher for the Bears. East Brunswick is now 8-13-1 for the season.

May 23, 2006 - East Brunswick 13, Cardinal McCarrick 3


East Brunswick found their offense in a late regular season matchup against Cardinal McCarrick. Aaron Wey and Joe Fischer both smashed a triples for the Bears. Aaron Wey was also the winning pitcher for the Bears. East Brunswick is now 7-13-1 for the season.

May 18, 2006 - East Brunswick 6, Dunellen 0


East Brunswick had a fine day against Dunnellen, with good offense and strong pitching. East Brunswick's Joe Fischer smashed a home run. Armand Lamhing and Corey Hersch both hit doubles for the Bears. Pitching the shutout for East Brunswick was Eric Miele. East Brunswick is now 6-13-1 for the season.

May 10, 2006 - Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament - Carteret 5, East Brunswick 2


This was a disappointing loss for the defending GMC champion Bears. Carteret was up 5-0 when Corey Hersch launched a home run to put the Bears on the scoreboard with two runs. East Brunswick is now 5-13-1 for the season.

May 6, 2006 - Peddie 16, East Brunswick 5


The game started out great for East Brunswick when Armand Lamhing got a lead off home run and Jordan Press followed it with a double, but by the fifth inning, East Brunswick just could not stop Peddie. East Brunswick is now 5-12-1 for the season.

May 4, 2006 - St. Joseph 7, East Brunswick 5


East Brunswick started out well, getting two runs in the first inning to match St. Joseph's two runs, however in the second inning, St. Joseph scored four more runs. East Brunswick's Nick Prevete got a double for the Bears. East Brunswick is now 5-11-1 for the season.

May 3, 2006 - East Brunswick 16, Perth Amboy 6


East Brunswick got back on track against Perth Amboy. East Brunswick got off to a fast start, scoring 6 runs in the first inning. Arman Lahming hit a home run, a double and got two RBI for east Brunswick. Anthony Galuchie had two hits and two RBI and Aaron Wey had 3 RBI for the Bears. East Brunswick is now 5-10-1 for the season.

May 2, 2006 - South Brunswick 3, East Brunswick 2


East Brunswick's troubles continued against South Brunswick. The Bears got off to a good start when Corey Hersch hit a single in the third inning and drove in 2 runs. In the seventh inning however, with East Brunswick ahead 2-1, Mike Mariano hit a home run for South Brunswick to tie the game. A few minutes later, South Brunswick's Jaskowski scored the winning run by stealing home on a wild pitch. Adam Pawlowski and Corey Hersch hit a doubles for the Bears. East Brunswick is now 4-10-1 for the season.

May 1, 2006 - Piscataway 8, East Brunswick 3


East Brunswick lost their fourth straight GMC Red Division loss with an 8-3 loss against Piscataway. Adam Pawlowski had two singles and an RBI for East Brunswick. Anthony Galuchie smashed a double for the Bears. East Brunswick is now 4-9-1 for the season.

April 29, 2006 - Old Bridge 3, East Brunswick 1


The game was scoreless until the sixth inning when Old Bridge scored a run in the top of the inning. East Brunswick immediately responded in the bottom of the inning when Adam Pawlowski drove in a run with a double to tie the game at 1-1. The seventh inning also was scoreless and East Brunswick pitcher Aaron Wey had been great allowing only 4 hits in 7 innings and contributing a double at the plate. In the eighth inning, however, Old Bridge sent up Jesus Rodriquez who drove in two runs with a double to put Old Bridge ahead to stay. East Brunswick is now 4-8 for the season.

April 28, 2006 - South Brunswick 3, East Brunswick 1


East Brunswick fell behind 3-0 in the second inning against the top ranked South Brunswick team, and managed to crawl back into the game, scoring in the third and fourth innings, but it was not enough. East Brunswick got 5 hits which included a double by Chris Santiago. East Brunswick is now 4-7 for the season.

April 26, 2006 - Edison 15, East Brunswick 5


East Brunswick had a rough time against Edison. Aaron Wey was 2 for 3 with two RBI, but against a strong Edison team, that was not enough. East Brunswick is now 4-6 for the season.

April 25, 2006 - East Brunswick 14, Perth Amboy 3


East Brunswick was locked in a 2-2 tie when in the fifth inning, Adam Pawlowski had a three run homer as part of a seven run inning which broke the game wide open. Aaron Wey was 2-5 with a double for East Brunswick. The winning pitcher was Joe Fischer who only allowed 6 hits on the day and he got a double when at bat. East Brunswick is now 4-5 for the season.

April 20, 2006 - J.P. Stevens 7, East Brunswick 6


East Brunswick briefly had the lead in the top of the fifth at 6-4, but J.P. Stevens scored two runs in the bottom of the fifth and ended up winning when they scored in the bottom of the seventh. East Brunswick's Adam Pawlowski hit a double. East Brunswick is now 3-5 for the season.

April 18, 2006 - St. Joseph 17, East Brunswick 9

East Brunswick just could not stop St. Joseph's offense. East Brunswick was down 9-0 by the time they came up in the third inning. East Brunswick managed to score a run, but the stranded 3. East Brunswick is now 3-4 for the season.

April 15, 2006 - Watchung Hills 13, East Brunswick 1


East Brunswick fell behind quickly, giving up 5 home runs on the day. A double by Aaron Wey was one of only two hits that East Brunswick had for the day. East Brunswick is now 3-3 for the season.

April 11, 2006 - J.P. Stevens 12, East Brunswick 6


Fifth ranked East Brunswick was upset by J.P. Stevens that took advantage of a five run fifth inning to break open a game that had been tied at 3-3. Festim Malaj had a three run homer for the Bears, while teammate Dan Bell had a two RBI day. East Brunswick is now 3-2 for the season.

April 10, 2006 - East Brunswick 8, Piscataway 5


East Brunswick scored two runs per inning for each of the first 3 innings. Piscataway scored 4 in the top of the third and in the fifth scored to make the 6-5. East Brunswick pulled away Corey Hersch hit a two run single in the bottom of the sixth. Eric Miele was the winning pitcher and Joe Fischer had the save. East Brunswick is now 3-1 for the season.

April 4, 2006 - Edison 11, East Brunswick 7


East Brunswick was up 7-1 against Edison, but Edison came roaring back. Down 7-5 in the bottom of the 6th inning, Edison scored 6 runs. Lamhing hit a home run for East Brunswick. Festim Malaj hit a double and Fisher got a tripple in the effort. The losing pitcher for was Press. East Brunswick is now 2-1 for the season.

April 3, 2006 - East Brunswick 11, Colonia 4


East Brunswick showed off their power, with Joe Fischer and Adam Pawlowski each blasting two home runs. Corey Hersh was 3-5 with two RBI for East Brunswick. Bell was the winning pitcher. East Brunswick is now 2-0 for the season.

April 1, 2006 - East Brunswick 3, Old Bridge 0


East Brunswick got the season off on the right foot, with a powerful performance against Old Bridge. Senior Eric Miele nearly got a no-hitter, Joe Layton of Old Bridge got a single in the bottom of the seventh which still left Eric with a full game shutout. Armand Lamhing was 3 for 4 with a solo home run for the Bears, while Dan Bell had two doubles and Joe Fischer had a double and and RBI. What a great way to start the season.
