EEast Brunswick had a little trouble putting away the New Brunswick Zebras on a rainy day in East Brunswick. The varsity played an unusual double header against New Brunswick. The Bears won all four games, 25-12, 25-6, 25-7 and 25-14. Senior Andrea Temkin served for eight straight points at the start of the second game. Michelle Sempkowski had 8 kills and 2 aces. Anne Ruffner had several nice blocks. Brittany Price served up a number of aces for East Brunswick. Haidi Parais had 4 kills and 3 aces. Ivana Kapetanovic had 8 kills, 2 aces and 3 blocks. Melissa Favis had some nice kills. Many of the younger players for East Brunswick were able to come in and contribute nicely to the victory. East Brunswick is now 5-0 for the season.
