February 19, 2005 - East Brunswick 36, Hillsborough 28: This match went back and forth and in the end came down to the last match. East Brunswick had a five point lead with GMC Champion John Parke coming in to wrestle. Unfortunately, John has been sick lately which has effected his wrestling. In the first period, a move went wrong and John was nearly pinned which would have given Hillsborough the victory, but John fought back and in the last period reach deep and repeatedly let up his opponent and quickly took him down again to gain the victory.

East Brunswick's big men couldn't pull it off, although there were some close matches.

January 28, 2005 - Edison 39, East Brunswick 26: Senior night at East Brunswick wasn't so happy this year. Edison got off to three pins at the start of the match and East Brunswick was not able to make a serious comeback until it was too late. John Parke was able to pin his opponent and Sergio Garcia and Todd Maryott won by major decisions. Matt Ackerman and Kevin Busund won their matches and David Ruffner won by forfeit.

January 26, 2005 - Old Bridge 43, East Brunswick 17: This match was closer than the score would indicate. Corey Ritchings got the Bears off to a great start by pinning Mike Arun. This was followed by close matches that were lost by East Brunswick wrestlers Todd Maryott and Fabian Pleasant. After losses by Buddy Volta and Sergio Garcia, John Parke and David Ruffner both overpowered their opponents winning by major decisions to pull East Brunswick to within within 2 points of Old Bridge. After that, the Old Bridge Knights scored a series of pins to put the match out of reach. Kevin Busund provided a bright spot at the end of the match with a well wrestled match that he won 6-4.

Kevin Busund came back from being sick with a strong match in which he pinned his opponent. Dave Schuberth, Corey Ritchings and John Parke also pinned their opponents. Fabian Pleasant lost his match, but fought very valiantly.
