February 15, 2005 - Preliminary Round of the Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament (GMC): Monroe 65, East Brunswick 47: Monroe pulled away from East Brunswick in the second half and by making 19 of 20 foul shots in the fourth quarter, kept the game out of reach for East Brunswick. Scoring for East Brunswick High School were: John Byrne (17 points), Tom Gadziala (8 points), Danny Fessel (8 points), Josh Sims (7 points), Richard Laskay (2 points), Mike Wagenblast (2 points), Kevin Motusesky (2 points) and Steven Netti (1 points).
February 10, 2005 - East Brunswick 54, J.P. Stevens 48: East Brunswick pulled ahead in the second period lead by John Byrne who scored 15 points for the night. Herbert Nieves of Sayreville sank a layup with 20 seconds left to win the game. January 19, 2005 - Old Bridge 54, East Brunswick 47: East Brunswick had a 23-20 halftime lead, but could not hold on. Scoring for East Brunswick were: John Bryne (15 points), Danny Fessel (7 points), Tom Gadziala (6 points), Richard Laskay (6 points), Mike Wagenblast (6 points), Jimmy McCloskey (5 points) and Josh Sims (2 points).
January 13, 2005 - St. Joseph's 65, East Brunswick 54: East Brunswick lost a tough game against St Joseph's basketball team on St Joseph's home court.
January 11, 2005 - East Brunswick 56, Perth Amboy 48: East Brunswick struggled finished strong to pull out ahead of Perth Amboy. With just over 3 minutes left in the game, and the score tied at 42, the Bears made two quick scores off of fast breaks that resulted from stealing the ball. Perth Amboy never challenged again. Good foul shooting at the end extended the lead to 56-48. Scoring for the bears were: John Byrne (20 points - season high), Danny Fessel (10 points), Josh Sims (7 points), Kevin Motusesky (6 points), Tom Gadziala (6 points), Jimmy McCloskey (5 points), Richard Laskay (2 points).

January 8, 2005 - East Brunswick 73, J.P. Stevens 46: Jim McCloskey scored a season-high 16 points and Josh Sims scored 14 points with three assists in East Brunswick's victory overy J.P. Stevens. January 4, 2005 - South Brunswick 51, East Brunswick 43: The Bears could not hold onto a 37-25 lead when South Brunswick went on a 26-6 run in the fourth quarter. December 30, 2004 - East Brunswick 62, Union 54: The East Brunswick High School boys basketball team pulled off a stunning last minute victory with John Bryne sinking two baskets in the last 18 seconds to tie the game and then he added 6 points in overtime to lead the Bears to victory on the third day of the Vaughn Stapleton Classic in Bridgewater. Scoring for the Bears were: John Bryne (17 points), Tom Gadziala (16 points), Danny Fessel (10 points), Kevin Motusesky (8 points), Thorne (6 points), and Laskay (1 point). East Brunswick High School boys basketball season record is now 4-2.
December 28, 2004 - East Brunswick 72, Morristown 65: Rick Laskay with 13 points, was the high scorer for the East Brunswick basketball team against Morristown in the Vaughn Stapleton Classic in Bridgewater. Kevin Motusesky (12 points) and Tom Gadziala (11 points) also played important parts in the victory. East Brunswick High School boys basketball season record is now 3-2.
December 27, 2004 - Bridgewater-Raritan 54, East Brunswick 42: Tom Gadziala with 13 points, was the high scorer for East Brunswick in a losing effort against Bridgewater-Raritan in the Vaughn Stapleton Classic in Bridgewater. East Brunswick High School boys basketball season record is now 2-2.
December 23, 2004 - East Brunswick 76, Woodbridge 67: The East Brunswick High School boys basketball team finished strong against Woodbridge with 11 second half points by Tom Gadziala, and sinking 11 out of 12 free throws in the fourth quarter. Kevin Motusesky made 7 of 8 free throws in the fourth quarter. Scoring for the Bears were: Tom Gadziala (17 points), Josh Sims (13 points), Laskay (12 points), John Byrne (12 points), Kevin Motusesky (10 points), McCloskey (2 points), Thorne (4 points), Netti (2 points), Greg Burns (2 points) and Danny Fessel (2 points)
