| January 26, 2005 - Old Bridge 43, East Brunswick 17: This match was closer than the score would indicate. Corey Ritchings got the Bears off to a great start by pinning Mike Arun. This was followed by close matches that were lost by East Brunswick wrestlers Todd Maryott and Fabian Pleasant. After losses by Buddy Volta and Sergio Garcia, John Parke and David Ruffner both overpowered their opponents winning by major decisions to pull East Brunswick to within within 2 points of Old Bridge. After that, the Old Bridge Knights scored a series of pins to put the match out of reach. Kevin Busund provided a bright spot at the end of the match with a well wrestled match that he won 6-4. |
