GMC TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP – Rescheduled to Sun. Nov 9th at 11AM – at South Brunswick High School

Old Bridge vs. East Brunswick

Each of these teams pulled off upsets in their semifinals matchup to advance for the opportunity to stake a claim as the best team in the GMC. Perennial power East Brunswick is right back to where they’ve been so many times before – the game that decides who has bragging rights in this conference. Considering their 13-6-1 record and victory over the top seed in the tournament, East Brunswick may be the favorite heading into Saturday’s game. Leading the way for East Brunswick as their premier offensive duo is the pair of Sydney Rosa and Carla LaRocca, though a major contribution from Kaitlyn Roughan on a corner kick goal in East Brunswick’s semifinal win over South Brunswick appears to make their offensive attack even more dangerous and dynamic. Katrina Nguyen-Demary is also one of the more underrated players in the GMC, as her dogged approach on the field opens up so much and maintains many offensive opportunities for East Brunswick.
