East Brunswick missed winning the Greater Middlesex Conference Championship by 1 point in an extremely close match. The match came down to a 12 or 13th place finish for Mathew Koller which was so close it had to be determined by the judges. This was a very strong showing for East Brunswick. Placing for the Bears were: 7th Alex Elkin 17:04, 8th Brian Smith 17:07, 11th Alex Silverman 17:16, 13th Matthew Koller 17:22, 16th Joseph DeMarco 17:27 and 21st Daniel DeMarco 17:39.
